Flowers for Vancouver, ordered from Hong Kong

Place the order from Hong Kong and we do the rest in Vancouver: the bouquet is made up in our studio and taken to the recipient — the same day around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, by courier elsewhere in BC. You pay in Canadian dollars; the recipient pays nothing and no customs or import fee applies.

Placing the order from Hong Kong

A Hong Kong card and a BC delivery address are a normal combination here. The one thing to get right is which details go where:

  • The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, district and region — Hong Kong uses no postal code and district (no postal code).
  • The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, BC, the V6B 1A1-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
  • The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.

The charge, in plain terms

CurrencyCanadian dollars throughout. There's no Hong Kong dollars view in the currency menu (it stops at USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY), so work from the CAD price.
What you payA CAD amount — the gift, Canadian sales tax and delivery to that address, all displayed before payment. Your card issuer turns it into Hong Kong dollars at the issuer's rate, possibly plus a fee; the store has no part in that conversion.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from Hong Kong go through when the billing address is the card's.
Zero at their endNothing is collected from the recipient — no import fee, no duty, no customs — since the flowers are arranged and delivered in Canada.

Is their address covered?

Not your postcode — the recipient's Canadian one. The checkout's delivery service looks it up and tells you same-day or courier, and how long.

Lower Mainland and Vancouver addresses are same-day when the order is in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific — free delivery over $100, otherwise $15.99–$19.99. Other BC addresses go by courier in one to two business days (longer for remote areas); order by 2 p.m. Pacific and checkout quotes the shipping.

Cut-off times converted for Hong Kong

Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
Hong Kong (Asia/Hong_Kong, HKT)2:00 a.m. the next day5:00 a.m. the next day

When either side changes its clocks the difference shifts by an hour — the table holds for the date shown, and the live line recalculates each visit. At checkout pick the recipient's delivery date in Pacific time, not your local date; past 11 a.m. Pacific, the first same-day option is the next day. Closed Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Language, characters and names

Although English and Cantonese are what people speak in Hong Kong, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.

  • On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it. A message in Traditional Chinese has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
  • On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
  • On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
  • On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry Hong Kong's country code.

Order tracking

Enter the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order on Order Tracking. If a just-placed order isn't there yet, wait a few minutes, then ask support, quoting the order number from your confirmation.

Getting help

A person answers at customer support ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, as the store states (read 2026-09-17). Your equivalent on September 17, 2026:

  • Hong Kong (HKT): 12:00 a.m. the next day – 8:00 a.m. the next day

The rules on alcohol

Sending wine or champagne with the flowers is allowed when the person receiving it is 19+ — the driver or courier asks for photo ID and hands the bottle only to that person.

Hong Kong-to-Canada ordering questions

Is a card from Hong Kong a problem?

Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Hong Kong billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.

Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty, delivery?

No. The flowers are arranged and delivered inside Canada; there is no customs or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone; courier shipping is shown to you at checkout.

How early must I order for delivery today?

Before 11:00 a.m. Pacific (converted for Hong Kong in the table above) if the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. For the rest of BC the courier cut-off is 2 p.m. Pacific, then one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Will my message in English print correctly?

In Latin letters, yes — verbatim. Not tested for Traditional Chinese, so write it in Latin letters or a transliteration. Use Latin letters for the names and address too.

How much is that in Hong Kong dollars?

Checkout shows the full CAD figure (gift, Canadian tax, delivery) before payment; the HKD equivalent is whatever your bank's rate makes it. The currency menu on the store is only a rough guide.
