Vancouver Blooms · from Israel

Send flowers to Vancouver from Israel

For anyone in Israel with someone to spoil in British Columbia: the arrangement is put together in our Vancouver studio and delivered by our own drivers (same-day, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland) or by courier across BC. Canadian dollars at checkout; no customs, no import fees, nothing for the recipient to pay.

Placing the order from Israel

Nothing about an Israel order is unusual to us; the only slip we ever see is the buyer's details typed where the recipient's belong:

  • Billing details — yours. Your name as it appears on the card, your street address, city and seven-digit postal code (mikud), in the billing fields. Your mikud (postal code) goes there.
  • Delivery details — the recipient's. Their name, their Canadian street address, city, BC and Canadian postal code (letter-number-letter number-letter-number, e.g. V6B 1A1), and their telephone number, in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls that number, not yours.
  • The greeting card carries your name, so the recipient knows who sent it — the packing slip shows no prices.

What an Israel card is charged

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The switcher covers USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY only, not Israeli new shekels; treat the CAD number as the real one.
The chargeYour card is charged in Canadian dollars. Canadian sales tax and the delivery charge for the recipient's address are shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider converts the CAD amount into Israeli new shekels at its own rate and may add its own fee — the store doesn't set or see that rate.
Payment methodsThe store shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (2026-09-17). Israel-issued cards are fine; use the address the card is registered to.
Not chargedNo customs, duty or import fee — the gift never crosses a border. The recipient pays nothing.

Check the recipient's postal code

Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day on orders placed by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, free over $100 and $15.99–$19.99 under. The rest of BC: courier from Vancouver in one to two business days (longer for remote areas) for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific, with shipping priced at checkout.

Timing: Pacific Time, translated

Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
Israel (Asia/Jerusalem, IDT)9:00 p.m.12:00 a.m. the next day

Daylight-saving changes on either side move the gap by an hour; the table is for the date above and the line above it is recomputed for today. Choose the recipient's Canadian delivery date at checkout, not your own calendar date — after 11 a.m. Pacific the earliest same-day date is tomorrow, Pacific time. No deliveries Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Alphabets: the card and the label

Although Hebrew, Arabic and English are what people speak in Israel, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.

  • Message. Type it in whatever language you like, provided it's in Latin letters — what you type is what prints. A message in Hebrew has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
  • The payer's details. Latin letters, exactly as the card issuer has them.
  • Where it's going. The recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters; the delivery label is English and a name in another script won't be recognised at the door.
  • Telephones. Give the recipient's Canadian number with its area code in the delivery fields; yours can include the Israel dialling code.

Tracking, support and alcohol

Tracking your order

Order Tracking asks for the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. A very recent order may not appear for a few minutes; if it still doesn't, contact support with the order number from your confirmation email.

Support

A person answers at customer support ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, as the store states (read 2026-09-17). Your equivalent on September 17, 2026:

  • Israel (IDT): 7:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. the next day

Alcohol

Sending wine or champagne with the flowers is allowed when the person receiving it is 19+ — the driver or courier asks for photo ID and hands the bottle only to that person.

Before you order from Israel

Do you accept Israeli cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your Israeli address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Any duty or fees at their end?

None. The arrangement is made and delivered in Canada, so customs and import fees don't apply. Same-day-zone delivery is free over $100; courier costs appear at your checkout.

How early must I order for delivery today?

Before 11:00 a.m. Pacific (converted for Israel in the table above) if the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. For the rest of BC the courier cut-off is 2 p.m. Pacific, then one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Can I write the card in Hebrew?

Yes, in Latin letters — it prints as typed. A message in Hebrew hasn't been tested through the card-printing path; use Latin letters or a transliteration. Names and the delivery address must be in Latin letters.

What will it cost me in Israeli new shekels?

The CAD total — gift, Canadian tax and the delivery charge for the address — is shown before you pay. Your bank sets the ILS amount at its own rate; the store's currency menu gives an estimate only.

Where Israel's flowers go

Our drivers cover Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the same day (Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam, Langley Township, Port Moody, White Rock and more); couriers take the rest of BC. What the record shows: 50% of flowers from Israel went to Vancouver, 13% of flowers from Israel went to Richmond, a median of about $115 CAD per order, and July as the busiest month. Pages for the destinations we serve most: Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Victoria, Langley Township, New Westminster.
