For anyone in Japan with someone to spoil in British Columbia: the arrangement is put together in our Vancouver studio and delivered by our own drivers (same-day, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland) or by courier across BC. Canadian dollars at checkout; no customs, no import fees, nothing for the recipient to pay.
Placing the order from Japan
Nothing about a Japan order is unusual to us; the only slip we ever see is the buyer's details typed where the recipient's belong:
- Your side. Card name, postal code, prefecture, city and street address and postal code (〒) go in the billing fields, nowhere else.
- Their side. Name, street, city, BC, a Canadian postal code such as V6B 1A1, and the recipient's own phone number in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls the recipient, never the buyer.
- The message. The greeting card names you as the sender; the paperwork in the parcel shows no prices.
Money matters for a Japan buyer
PricingIn CAD. The store's menu can restate prices in JPY at an indicative rate.
What you payA CAD amount — the gift, Canadian sales tax and delivery to that address, all displayed before payment. Your card issuer turns it into Japanese yen at the issuer's rate, possibly plus a fee; the store has no part in that conversion.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from Japan go through when the billing address is the card's.
ExcludedImport fees, duty and customs — none, since nothing is shipped across a border. The recipient is not asked to pay.
Delivery dates for their address
Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.
The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.
Cut-off times converted for Japan
The clock that matters is the recipient's — Pacific Time. Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day when the order lands by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, every day of the week, with businesses served no later than 5 p.m. and homes no later than 9 p.m. Rest of BC: courier, shipped the same day for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific (weekdays), one to two business days (longer for remote areas) in transit. Translated into your time for September 17, 2026:

An hour can shift with daylight-saving changes here or there — trust the live line for today and the table for the date it names. The date you pick at checkout is the recipient's Pacific date; after 11 a.m. in Vancouver the earliest same-day slot is the following day. Alphabets: the card and the label
Although Japanese is what people speak in Japan, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.
- The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed. A message in Japanese (kanji, hiragana, katakana) has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
- Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
- Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
- Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the Japan country code.

Order tracking
Order Tracking needs the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Allow a few minutes after ordering; if nothing shows after that, send support the order number from the confirmation email.

Drinks: who can receive them
Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.
Questions from Japan buyers
Is a card from Japan a problem?
Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Japanese billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.
Is there anything for the recipient to pay?
No. Made and delivered within Canada means no customs or import charges; delivery in the same-day zone is free on orders over $100, and courier shipping is paid by you at checkout.
Same-day from abroad — really?
Yes, when the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland and the order arrives by 11:00 a.m. Pacific that day (see the Japan equivalent in the table). The rest of BC is courier: order by 2 p.m. Pacific, delivered in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).
How much is that in Japanese yen?
Checkout shows the full CAD figure (gift, Canadian tax, delivery) before payment; the JPY equivalent is whatever your bank's rate makes it. The currency menu on the store is only a rough guide.
How do I pick the arrival date?
Select the day it should land at the recipient's address, reckoned in Pacific time. Past 11 a.m. in Vancouver, the earliest same-day option is the next day.
Where Japan's flowers go
Hand delivery the same day in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (Surrey, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam and more); courier everywhere else in BC. Looking at the orders so far, 47% of flowers from Japan went to Vancouver, 23% of flowers from Japan went to Burnaby. The median order: about $105 CAD. Busiest month: May.
