How a Philippines order reaches a BC address

We take orders from the Philippines every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:

  • Who pays — your own name as printed on the card, plus your street address, barangay, city, province and ZIP code, in the billing section; put your ZIP code there too.
  • Who receives — their full name, Canadian street address, city, BC, Canadian postal code (V6B 1A1 style) and their telephone number in the delivery section, because that's who the driver calls.
  • Who it's from — the greeting card says, in your words; nothing on the packing slip mentions a price.

Paying from the Philippines

PricingIn CAD. The menu's alternatives are USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY, with no Philippine pesos option, so the CAD amount is your reference.
How it's chargedIn Canadian dollars, the full amount visible before you pay — gift, Canadian tax, delivery to the address. What appears in Philippine pesos on your statement is your bank's conversion at its rate, sometimes with a fee the store doesn't control.
Card typesVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (the store's listed marks, 2026-09-17). A Philippines card is accepted; give the billing address your bank holds.
Border feesThere aren't any. The gift is domestic on the Canadian side, so customs, duty and import charges never come into it, and the recipient owes nothing.

Is their address covered?

Put in the postal code of the BC address you're sending to — the recipient's. The live delivery service answers with same-day or courier and the transit time.

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day on orders placed by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, free over $100 and $15.99–$19.99 under. The rest of BC: courier from Vancouver in one to two business days (longer for remote areas) for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific, with shipping priced at checkout.

Cut-off times converted for the Philippines

Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)

Two calendars are in play: the table is correct for the date it names and moves an hour when either country changes its clocks, while the live line is today's. Checkout wants the recipient's date in Pacific time — with Vancouver past 11 a.m., the earliest same-day date is the next one. Closure days: Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Writing the card and the address from the Philippines

the Philippines's languages are English and Filipino; our store, checkout and delivery labels are English.

  • The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed.
  • Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
  • Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
  • Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the the Philippines country code.

Three practical things

Following the order

The store's Order Tracking page wants the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. An order placed minutes ago can take a little while to show; if it stays missing, give support the order number from your confirmation.

Customer support

Reach customer support at [email protected] or +1 (604) 636-0970, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day — the hours the store publishes (read 2026-09-17). For September 17, 2026, in the Philippines time that is:

  • Philippines (PST): 12:00 a.m. the next day – 8:00 a.m. the next day

If there's a bottle in it

BC's legal drinking age is 19+, and that is the only condition on adding a bottle: photo ID at handover, nothing left unattended.

What the Philippines customers ask us

Is a card from the Philippines a problem?

Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Filipino billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.

Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty, delivery?

No. The flowers are arranged and delivered inside Canada; there is no customs or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone; courier shipping is shown to you at checkout.

Same-day from abroad — really?

Yes, when the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland and the order arrives by 11:00 a.m. Pacific that day (see the the Philippines equivalent in the table). The rest of BC is courier: order by 2 p.m. Pacific, delivered in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Does the card support English?

Any language in Latin letters prints as typed. The recipient's name and address must be in Latin letters as well.

How much is that in Philippine pesos?

Checkout shows the full CAD figure (gift, Canadian tax, delivery) before payment; the PHP equivalent is whatever your bank's rate makes it. The currency menu on the store is only a rough guide.
