Buying from Colombia, delivering in British Columbia

A Colombia card and a BC delivery address are a normal combination here. The one thing to get right is which details go where:

  • The buyer's block holds your card name, street address, city, department and código postal and código postal.
  • The recipient's block holds their name, Canadian street, city, BC, the V6B 1A1-style postal code and the recipient's phone — the number the driver or courier dials.
  • The card tells them it's from you; the slip inside shows no prices.

Paying from Colombia

Listed inCanadian dollars. The currency menu offers USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY as approximations but no Colombian pesos view, so compare against the CAD figure.
How it's chargedIn Canadian dollars, the full amount visible before you pay — gift, Canadian tax, delivery to the address. What appears in Colombian pesos on your statement is your bank's conversion at its rate, sometimes with a fee the store doesn't control.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from Colombia go through when the billing address is the card's.
What doesn't applyDuty, customs, import charges: none of them, as the gift stays inside Canada from studio to door. The recipient pays nothing at all.

Delivery dates for their address

Put in the postal code of the BC address you're sending to — the recipient's. The live delivery service answers with same-day or courier and the transit time.

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day on orders placed by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, free over $100 and $15.99–$19.99 under. The rest of BC: courier from Vancouver in one to two business days (longer for remote areas) for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific, with shipping priced at checkout.

Timing: Pacific Time, translated

Read the deadlines in Pacific Time, the recipient's zone. Same-day (Vancouver and the Lower Mainland): order by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, any day; businesses receive no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. Courier (rest of BC): order by 2 p.m. Pacific, Monday to Friday, to ship that day; one to two business days (longer for remote areas) to arrive. For September 17, 2026, that means:

Note the table is for the date above (daylight saving on either side moves things by an hour); the live line above it is today's. Checkout wants the recipient's date, Pacific time: if Vancouver is already past 11 a.m., same-day means tomorrow there. Days off: Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Letters, names and the card

Although Spanish is what people speak in Colombia, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.

  • Card message. Latin letters, any language — it's printed verbatim.
  • Your own details. Latin letters, as on the card statement.
  • Recipient details. Latin letters for the name and the Canadian address; the label and the courier's systems are English and can't verify another script at the door.
  • Numbers to call. Recipient: their Canadian number with area code, in the delivery fields. You: Colombia country code is fine.

Three practical things

Checking progress

Order Tracking needs the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Allow a few minutes after ordering; if nothing shows after that, send support the order number from the confirmation email.

Getting help

The support team ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) works 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, per the store's contact page as read on 2026-09-17. Converted to your clock for September 17, 2026:

  • Colombia (-05): 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The rules on alcohol

Sending wine or champagne with the flowers is allowed when the person receiving it is 19+ — the driver or courier asks for photo ID and hands the bottle only to that person.

What Colombia customers ask us

Do you accept Colombian cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your Colombian address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Could the recipient get a bill for customs or delivery?

No — there's no border crossing, so no customs, duty or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone, and courier shipping is charged to you at checkout.

Is same-day possible from where I am?

Yes, if the order reaches us by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the delivery day and the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland — check the table above for the Colombia equivalent. Elsewhere in BC, a 2 p.m. Pacific order ships that day and arrives in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Which date do I choose at checkout?

The date you want the gift to arrive at the recipient's address, in their (Pacific) calendar. If it's already past 11 a.m. in Vancouver, the earliest same-day date offered is the next day.

Is alcohol allowed in the gift?

Yes, when the recipient is 19 or older. Photo ID is checked at the door and alcohol is never left unattended.

Where Colombia's flowers go

Our drivers cover Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the same day (West Vancouver, Delta, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam and more); couriers take the rest of BC. In the available history, 45% of flowers from Colombia went to Vancouver, 24% of flowers from Colombia went to Burnaby; the median order came to about $80 CAD, and April was the busiest month. Pages for the destinations we serve most: Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, Delta.
