Vancouver Blooms · from Denmark

Flowers in Vancouver, paid for in Denmark

Place the order from Denmark and we do the rest in Vancouver: the bouquet is made up in our studio and taken to the recipient — the same day around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, by courier elsewhere in BC. You pay in Canadian dollars; the recipient pays nothing and no customs or import fee applies.

Two addresses: yours in Denmark, theirs in BC

We take orders from Denmark every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:

  • Billing fields: the cardholder's name as printed, the street address, postnummer and city, the postnummer — all yours.
  • Delivery fields: everything about the recipient — name, Canadian street address, city, BC, postal code in the V6B 1A1 form, and their telephone, which is what the driver or courier will use.
  • Greeting card: signed with your name so they know who sent it; the packing slip is priceless in the literal sense — no amounts printed.

Currency and payment from Denmark

CurrencyCanadian dollars throughout. There's no Danish kroner view in the currency menu (it stops at USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY), so work from the CAD price.
The chargeYour card is charged in Canadian dollars. Canadian sales tax and the delivery charge for the recipient's address are shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider converts the CAD amount into Danish kroner at its own rate and may add its own fee — the store doesn't set or see that rate.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from Denmark go through when the billing address is the card's.
Never chargedCustoms, duty and import fees don't arise: the gift is made and delivered inside Canada. Nothing is collected from the recipient.

Look up the BC address

The recipient's postal code goes here — it's checked against the delivery service the checkout runs on, which reports same-day or courier and the days.

Same-day across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland when ordered by 11:00 a.m. Pacific (free on orders over $100; otherwise $15.99–$19.99). Elsewhere in BC: courier from Vancouver, one to two business days (longer for remote areas), order by 2 p.m. Pacific; shipping shown at checkout.

Order deadlines, where you are

Vancouver works on Pacific Time. An order in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific is hand-delivered the same day anywhere in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, seven days a week — businesses no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. For everywhere else in BC, courier orders placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday ship that day and arrive within one to two business days (longer for remote areas). In Denmark's own time on September 17, 2026:

Denmark (Europe/Copenhagen, CEST)8:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.

Two calendars are in play: the table is correct for the date it names and moves an hour when either country changes its clocks, while the live line is today's. Checkout wants the recipient's date in Pacific time — with Vancouver past 11 a.m., the earliest same-day date is the next one. Closure days: Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Characters: what prints and what the driver can read

English is the store's language throughout; Danish and English are spoken in Denmark, and that matters for the card and the address:

  • The card. Any language is fine as long as it uses Latin letters; it prints exactly as typed.
  • Buyer's name and address. In Latin letters, matching the card statement.
  • Recipient's name and address. Latin letters only — the label and the courier's scanners are English, and a name in another script can't be matched at the door.
  • Phone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number (area code included) in the delivery fields; your own may use the Denmark country code.

Order tracking, support hours, alcohol

Where is it?

Enter the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order on Order Tracking. If a just-placed order isn't there yet, wait a few minutes, then ask support, quoting the order number from your confirmation.

Who to contact

Support is on [email protected] and +1 (604) 636-0970, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day — the store's stated hours (read 2026-09-17). What that is where you are, on September 17, 2026:

  • Denmark (CEST): 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day

The rules on alcohol

Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.

Denmark to BC — common questions

Will a Denmark bank card work?

It will. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are all taken with a Danish billing address; you're charged in CAD and your bank does the conversion.

Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty, delivery?

No. The flowers are arranged and delivered inside Canada; there is no customs or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone; courier shipping is shown to you at checkout.

When do I have to order for same-day delivery?

By 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the delivery day — see the table above for what that is in Denmark today — for addresses in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Elsewhere in BC, order by 2 p.m. Pacific to ship that day; delivery takes one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Where do I check on the order?

The store's Order Tracking page, with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. For anything else, support runs 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day — chat, +1 (604) 636-0970 or [email protected] — and will want the order number.

Will my message in Danish print correctly?

In Latin letters, yes — verbatim. Use Latin letters for the names and address too.
