Placing the order from Ireland
We take orders from Ireland every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:
- Who pays — your own name as printed on the card, plus your street address, town, county and Eircode, in the billing section; put your Eircode there too.
- Who receives — their full name, Canadian street address, city, BC, Canadian postal code (V6B 1A1 style) and their telephone number in the delivery section, because that's who the driver calls.
- Who it's from — the greeting card says, in your words; nothing on the packing slip mentions a price.
The charge, in plain terms

The chargeYour card is charged in Canadian dollars. Canadian sales tax and the delivery charge for the recipient's address are shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider converts the CAD amount into euros at its own rate and may add its own fee — the store doesn't set or see that rate.
CardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — the marks shown on the store on 2026-09-17. Cards issued in Ireland are accepted; the billing address must be the card's.

Delivery timing, in your time
Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026:

Because both sides observe daylight saving on different dates, the gap can change by an hour; the live line is recalculated each visit and the table is fixed to its date. Language, characters and names
The store and its checkout are in English; in Ireland, English and Irish are spoken.
- Greeting card. Write your card message in any language that uses Latin letters — it prints as you type it.
- Your name and billing address. As they appear on your card statement, in Latin letters.
- Recipient's name and Canadian address. Latin letters — the delivery label and the courier's systems are in English; a name in another script can't be read at the door.
- Telephone numbers. The recipient's Canadian number in the delivery fields, with area code; yours can carry the Ireland country code.
