Filling in the checkout from Italy

Ordering from Italy is straightforward as long as the payer's and the recipient's details stay in their own fields:

  • Billing fields: the cardholder's name as printed, the street address, CAP, city and province, the CAP — all yours.
  • Delivery fields: everything about the recipient — name, Canadian street address, city, BC, postal code in the V6B 1A1 form, and their telephone, which is what the driver or courier will use.
  • Greeting card: signed with your name so they know who sent it; the packing slip is priceless in the literal sense — no amounts printed.

The charge, in plain terms

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display EUR equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
How it's chargedIn Canadian dollars, the full amount visible before you pay — gift, Canadian tax, delivery to the address. What appears in euros on your statement is your bank's conversion at its rate, sometimes with a fee the store doesn't control.
CardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — the marks shown on the store on 2026-09-17. Cards issued in Italy are accepted; the billing address must be the card's.
Border feesThere aren't any. The gift is domestic on the Canadian side, so customs, duty and import charges never come into it, and the recipient owes nothing.

Check the recipient's postal code

Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.

The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.

Delivery timing, in your time

Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
Italy (Europe/Rome, CEST)8:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.

When either side changes its clocks the difference shifts by an hour — the table holds for the date shown, and the live line recalculates each visit. At checkout pick the recipient's delivery date in Pacific time, not your local date; past 11 a.m. Pacific, the first same-day option is the next day. Closed Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Writing the card and the address from Italy

Although Italian is what people speak in Italy, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.

  • Card message. Latin letters, any language — it's printed verbatim.
  • Your own details. Latin letters, as on the card statement.
  • Recipient details. Latin letters for the name and the Canadian address; the label and the courier's systems are English and can't verify another script at the door.
  • Numbers to call. Recipient: their Canadian number with area code, in the delivery fields. You: Italy country code is fine.

After you order: tracking, help, alcohol

Where is it?

Enter the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order on Order Tracking. If a just-placed order isn't there yet, wait a few minutes, then ask support, quoting the order number from your confirmation.

Customer support

Reach customer support at [email protected] or +1 (604) 636-0970, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day — the hours the store publishes (read 2026-09-17). For September 17, 2026, in Italy time that is:

  • Italy (CEST): 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day

Drinks: who can receive them

Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.

What Italy customers ask us

What cards can I use from Italy?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, registered to your Italian billing address. The charge is made in Canadian dollars and converted by your bank.

Any duty or fees at their end?

None. The arrangement is made and delivered in Canada, so customs and import fees don't apply. Same-day-zone delivery is free over $100; courier costs appear at your checkout.

How early must I order for delivery today?

Before 11:00 a.m. Pacific (converted for Italy in the table above) if the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. For the rest of BC the courier cut-off is 2 p.m. Pacific, then one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

What if the recipient isn't home?

The flowers are left in a safe place or with a concierge, reception desk or mailroom — no signature is needed. A bottle is the exception: it is handed only to someone 19+ with photo ID.

Can I follow the delivery?

Yes — Order Tracking needs the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Questions go to support (+1 (604) 636-0970, [email protected], or chat), open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day; quote the order number.
