Placing the order from the Netherlands

Ordering from the Netherlands is straightforward as long as the payer's and the recipient's details stay in their own fields:

  • Billing fields: the cardholder's name as printed, the street address, postcode and city, the postcode — all yours.
  • Delivery fields: everything about the recipient — name, Canadian street address, city, BC, postal code in the V6B 1A1 form, and their telephone, which is what the driver or courier will use.
  • Greeting card: signed with your name so they know who sent it; the packing slip is priceless in the literal sense — no amounts printed.

What a Netherlands card is charged

Listed inCanadian dollars. Pick EUR in the store's currency menu to see an approximate figure at today's rate — a guide, not the charge.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The euros equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from the Netherlands go through when the billing address is the card's.
Not chargedNo customs, duty or import fee — the gift never crosses a border. The recipient pays nothing.

How soon can it get there?

Enter the recipient's Canadian postal code — the answer comes from the same delivery service the checkout uses: same-day or courier, and the days.

The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.

Cut-off times converted for the Netherlands

The clock that matters is the recipient's — Pacific Time. Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day when the order lands by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, every day of the week, with businesses served no later than 5 p.m. and homes no later than 9 p.m. Rest of BC: courier, shipped the same day for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific (weekdays), one to two business days (longer for remote areas) in transit. Translated into your time for September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
Netherlands (Europe/Amsterdam, CEST)8:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.

Because both sides observe daylight saving on different dates, the gap can change by an hour; the live line is recalculated each visit and the table is fixed to its date. Pick the recipient's Pacific delivery date at checkout — if it's after 11 a.m. in Vancouver, tomorrow is the first same-day option. We don't deliver Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Letters, names and the card

the Netherlands's languages are Dutch and English; our store, checkout and delivery labels are English.

  • On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it.
  • On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
  • On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
  • On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry the Netherlands's country code.

Tracking, support and alcohol

Following the order

The store's Order Tracking page wants the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. An order placed minutes ago can take a little while to show; if it stays missing, give support the order number from your confirmation.

Getting help

The support team ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) works 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, per the store's contact page as read on 2026-09-17. Converted to your clock for September 17, 2026:

  • Netherlands (CEST): 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day

Alcohol

Wine, champagne, beer and spirits can be paired with the flowers for any BC address where the recipient is 19+ — BC's legal drinking age. Photo ID is checked at the door, and a bottle is never left unattended.

Ordering from the Netherlands: what people ask

Do you accept Dutch cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your Dutch address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Could the recipient get a bill for customs or delivery?

No — there's no border crossing, so no customs, duty or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone, and courier shipping is charged to you at checkout.

Same-day from abroad — really?

Yes, when the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland and the order arrives by 11:00 a.m. Pacific that day (see the the Netherlands equivalent in the table). The rest of BC is courier: order by 2 p.m. Pacific, delivered in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Who do I contact if something's wrong?

Support, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day: chat on the store, +1 (604) 636-0970, or [email protected], with your order number to hand. To simply follow the order, use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order.

Can the greeting be in Dutch?

It can, written in Latin letters; what you type is what prints. Names and the delivery address: Latin letters.
