Send flowers to Vancouver from Spain

A purchaser in Spain, a recipient in British Columbia. Placing the order from Spain

We take orders from Spain every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:

  • Payer: name as on the card, street address, código postal, city and province, código postal — in billing.
  • Receiver: name, Canadian street address, city, BC, a postal code like V6B 1A1, and their own phone number — in delivery; the driver or courier rings the receiver.
  • Sender line: your name goes on the greeting card, and the packing slip carries no prices.

Money matters for a Spain buyer

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display EUR equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
The chargeYour card is charged in Canadian dollars. Canadian sales tax and the delivery charge for the recipient's address are shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider converts the CAD amount into euros at its own rate and may add its own fee — the store doesn't set or see that rate.
CardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — the marks shown on the store on 2026-09-17. Cards issued in Spain are accepted; the billing address must be the card's.
Never chargedCustoms, duty and import fees don't arise: the gift is made and delivered inside Canada. Nothing is collected from the recipient.

Check the recipient's postal code

Enter the recipient's Canadian postal code — the answer comes from the same delivery service the checkout uses: same-day or courier, and the days.

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day on orders placed by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, free over $100 and $15.99–$19.99 under. The rest of BC: courier from Vancouver in one to two business days (longer for remote areas) for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific, with shipping priced at checkout.

The Vancouver cut-offs in Spain time

Read the deadlines in Pacific Time, the recipient's zone. Same-day (Vancouver and the Lower Mainland): order by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, any day; businesses receive no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. Courier (rest of BC): order by 2 p.m. Pacific, Monday to Friday, to ship that day; one to two business days (longer for remote areas) to arrive. For September 17, 2026, that means — per Spain time zone:

Your time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
Mainland Spain (Europe/Madrid, CEST)8:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.
Canary Islands (Atlantic/Canary, WEST)7:00 p.m.10:00 p.m.

Clock changes in Spain or in BC alter the offset by an hour; the table is fixed to the date above, the line under it is live. The delivery date you choose at checkout is the recipient's, on the Pacific calendar — once Vancouver has passed 11 a.m., the soonest same-day date is tomorrow. No deliveries on Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Writing the card and the address from Spain

Although Spanish is what people speak in Spain, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.

  • On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it.
  • On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
  • On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
  • On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry Spain's country code.

Checking progress

Order Tracking asks for the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. A very recent order may not appear for a few minutes; if it still doesn't, contact support with the order number from your confirmation email.

Customer support

A person answers at customer support ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, as the store states (read 2026-09-17). Your equivalent on September 17, 2026:

  • Mainland Spain (CEST): 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day
  • Canary Islands (WEST): 5:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. the next day

Drinks: who can receive them

Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.

Answers for a sender in Spain

Is a card from Spain a problem?

Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Spanish billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.

Is there anything for the recipient to pay?

No. Made and delivered within Canada means no customs or import charges; delivery in the same-day zone is free on orders over $100, and courier shipping is paid by you at checkout.

What's the same-day deadline?

11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day itself, for Vancouver and Lower Mainland addresses — the table above gives it in Spain time. Other BC addresses: order by 2 p.m. Pacific and it ships that day, arriving in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

How much is that in euros?

Checkout shows the full CAD figure (gift, Canadian tax, delivery) before payment; the EUR equivalent is whatever your bank's rate makes it. The currency menu on the store is only a rough guide.

Do I choose the delivery date in my time zone?

No — in the recipient's, Pacific time: the date the gift should arrive at their door. If Vancouver has passed 11 a.m., the soonest same-day date on offer is the next day.
