Vancouver Blooms · from Australia

Flowers in Vancouver, paid for in Australia

A purchaser in Australia, a recipient in British Columbia. The flowers never leave Canada: arranged in our Vancouver studio, hand-delivered the same day across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland or couriered across the province. Your card is charged in CAD, with no duty, customs or import charge for anyone.

Two addresses: yours in Australia, theirs in BC

Nothing about an Australia order is unusual to us; the only slip we ever see is the buyer's details typed where the recipient's belong:

  • Billing fields: the cardholder's name as printed, the street address, suburb, state and postcode, the postcode — all yours.
  • Delivery fields: everything about the recipient — name, Canadian street address, city, BC, postal code in the V6B 1A1 form, and their telephone, which is what the driver or courier will use.
  • Greeting card: signed with your name so they know who sent it; the packing slip is priceless in the literal sense — no amounts printed.

Money matters for an Australia buyer

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display AUD equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
What you payA CAD amount — the gift, Canadian sales tax and delivery to that address, all displayed before payment. Your card issuer turns it into Australian dollars at the issuer's rate, possibly plus a fee; the store has no part in that conversion.
CardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — the marks shown on the store on 2026-09-17. Cards issued in Australia are accepted; the billing address must be the card's.
Zero at their endNothing is collected from the recipient — no import fee, no duty, no customs — since the flowers are arranged and delivered in Canada.

Is their address covered?

Enter the recipient's Canadian postal code — the answer comes from the same delivery service the checkout uses: same-day or courier, and the days.

Order by 11:00 a.m. Pacific for same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free delivery over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); by 2 p.m. Pacific for courier to the rest of the province, one to two business days (longer for remote areas), rate shown at checkout.

Timing: Pacific Time, translated

Everything is timed on Pacific Time, which is what the recipient in BC lives on. For same-day hand delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland the order must be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day (any day of the week; workplaces get it no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m.). Courier orders for the rest of the province go out the same day if placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday and take one to two business days (longer for remote areas). Here is what those cut-offs are for September 17, 2026 — Australia spans several zones, so pick yours:

Your time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)

An hour can shift with daylight-saving changes here or there — trust the live line for today and the table for the date it names. The date you pick at checkout is the recipient's Pacific date; after 11 a.m. in Vancouver the earliest same-day slot is the following day. Tracking, support and alcohol

Checking progress

The store's Order Tracking page wants the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. An order placed minutes ago can take a little while to show; if it stays missing, give support the order number from your confirmation.

Who to contact

Email [email protected] or call +1 (604) 636-0970: customer support keeps 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day (hours from the store's own page, 2026-09-17). In Australia on September 17, 2026:

  • Eastern (Sydney, Melbourne) (AEST): 2:00 a.m. the next day – 10:00 a.m. the next day
  • Queensland (no daylight saving) (AEST): 2:00 a.m. the next day – 10:00 a.m. the next day
  • Central (Adelaide) (ACST): 1:30 a.m. the next day – 9:30 a.m. the next day
  • Northern Territory (ACST): 1:30 a.m. the next day – 9:30 a.m. the next day
  • Western (Perth) (AWST): 12:00 a.m. the next day – 8:00 a.m. the next day

Alcohol

Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.

Before you order from Australia

Is a card from Australia a problem?

Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with an Australian billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.

Will the recipient be asked to pay customs or delivery?

Nothing — no customs, no duty, no import fee, because the gift never leaves Canada. Delivery is free over $100 in the same-day zone, and any courier charge is shown to you, the buyer, at checkout.

Is same-day possible from where I am?

Yes, if the order reaches us by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the delivery day and the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland — check the table above for the Australia equivalent. Elsewhere in BC, a 2 p.m. Pacific order ships that day and arrives in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Who do I contact if something's wrong?

Support, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day: chat on the store, +1 (604) 636-0970, or [email protected], with your order number to hand. To simply follow the order, use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order.

Will I know the Australian dollars cost before paying?

You'll know the CAD cost exactly — gift, tax and delivery, all shown at checkout. The AUD figure depends on your bank's rate; the store's currency menu only approximates it.
