Send flowers to Vancouver from New Zealand

For anyone in New Zealand with someone to spoil in British Columbia: the arrangement is put together in our Vancouver studio and delivered by our own drivers (same-day, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland) or by courier across BC. Canadian dollars at checkout; no customs, no import fees, nothing for the recipient to pay.

Buying from New Zealand, delivering in British Columbia

A New Zealand card and a BC delivery address are a normal combination here. The one thing to get right is which details go where:

  • Billing details — yours. Your name as it appears on the card, your street address, suburb, city and postcode, in the billing fields. Your postcode goes there.
  • Delivery details — the recipient's. Their name, their Canadian street address, city, BC and Canadian postal code (letter-number-letter number-letter-number, e.g. V6B 1A1), and their telephone number, in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls that number, not yours.
  • The greeting card carries your name, so the recipient knows who sent it — the packing slip shows no prices.

The charge, in plain terms

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The switcher covers USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY only, not New Zealand dollars; treat the CAD number as the real one.
On your statementThe transaction is in Canadian dollars: gift, Canadian tax and the delivery fee for the recipient's address, shown up front. Conversion to New Zealand dollars — and any charge for it — is your bank's, at a rate the store neither sets nor sees.
Card typesVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (the store's listed marks, 2026-09-17). A New Zealand card is accepted; give the billing address your bank holds.
What doesn't applyDuty, customs, import charges: none of them, as the gift stays inside Canada from studio to door. The recipient pays nothing at all.

When can it arrive?

Type the recipient's Canadian postal code (not your own). The reply is the checkout's own delivery system: whether the address is same-day or courier, and how many days.

The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.

Cut-off times converted for New Zealand

Vancouver works on Pacific Time. An order in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific is hand-delivered the same day anywhere in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, seven days a week — businesses no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. For everywhere else in BC, courier orders placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday ship that day and arrive within one to two business days (longer for remote areas). In New Zealand's own time on September 17, 2026:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT, Mon–Fri)
New Zealand (Pacific/Auckland, NZST)6:00 a.m. the next day9:00 a.m. the next day

When either side changes its clocks the difference shifts by an hour — the table holds for the date shown, and the live line recalculates each visit. At checkout pick the recipient's delivery date in Pacific time, not your local date; past 11 a.m. Pacific, the first same-day option is the next day. Closed Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Language, characters and names

English is the store's language throughout; English and Māori are spoken in New Zealand, and that matters for the card and the address:

  • On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it.
  • On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
  • On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
  • On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry New Zealand's country code.

Tracking, support and alcohol

Where is it?

Use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Brand-new orders sometimes lag by a few minutes — if yours doesn't appear, support can find it by the order number in your confirmation email.

Support

A person answers at customer support ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, as the store states (read 2026-09-17). Your equivalent on September 17, 2026:

  • New Zealand (NZST): 4:00 a.m. the next day – 12:00 p.m. the next day

Alcohol

A bottle alongside the flowers goes to any address in BC as long as the recipient is 19+, the province's legal drinking age; the driver or courier checks photo ID and will not leave alcohol without a person.

New Zealand: the questions we get

Do you accept New Zealand cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your New Zealand address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Will the recipient be asked to pay customs or delivery?

Nothing — no customs, no duty, no import fee, because the gift never leaves Canada. Delivery is free over $100 in the same-day zone, and any courier charge is shown to you, the buyer, at checkout.

Is same-day possible from where I am?

Yes, if the order reaches us by 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the delivery day and the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland — check the table above for the New Zealand equivalent. Elsewhere in BC, a 2 p.m. Pacific order ships that day and arrives in one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

How much is that in New Zealand dollars?

Checkout shows the full CAD figure (gift, Canadian tax, delivery) before payment; the NZD equivalent is whatever your bank's rate makes it. The currency menu on the store is only a rough guide.

How do I pick the arrival date?

Select the day it should land at the recipient's address, reckoned in Pacific time. Past 11 a.m. in Vancouver, the earliest same-day option is the next day.
