Vancouver Blooms · from Ukraine

Sending flowers to Vancouver from Ukraine

Place the order from Ukraine and we do the rest in Vancouver: the bouquet is made up in our studio and taken to the recipient — the same day around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, by courier elsewhere in BC. You pay in Canadian dollars; the recipient pays nothing and no customs or import fee applies.

Placing the order from Ukraine

Yes — a purchaser in Ukraine can order for a recipient anywhere we deliver in BC. Checkout keeps two addresses apart, and the order goes wrong only when they're mixed:

  • Payer: name as on the card, street address, city, region and postal code, postal code — in billing.
  • Receiver: name, Canadian street address, city, BC, a postal code like V6B 1A1, and their own phone number — in delivery; the driver or courier rings the receiver.
  • Sender line: your name goes on the greeting card, and the packing slip carries no prices.

The charge, in plain terms

PricingIn CAD. The menu's alternatives are USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY, with no Ukrainian hryvnia option, so the CAD amount is your reference.
What you payA CAD amount — the gift, Canadian sales tax and delivery to that address, all displayed before payment. Your card issuer turns it into Ukrainian hryvnia at the issuer's rate, possibly plus a fee; the store has no part in that conversion.
Which cardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — read from the store's own footer on 2026-09-17. Cards from Ukraine go through when the billing address is the card's.
No border costsBecause the arrangement is made and delivered within Canada there is no duty, customs or import charge, and the recipient owes nothing.

Is their address covered?

Look up the BC address by the recipient's postal code: the live service behind the checkout answers with same-day or courier and a transit time.

The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.

When to order, on your own clock

Vancouver works on Pacific Time. An order in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific is hand-delivered the same day anywhere in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, seven days a week — businesses no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. For everywhere else in BC, courier orders placed by 2 p.m. Pacific on a weekday ship that day and arrive within one to two business days (longer for remote areas). In Ukraine's own time on September 17, 2026:

Daylight-saving changes on either side move the gap by an hour; the table is for the date above and the line above it is recomputed for today. Choose the recipient's Canadian delivery date at checkout, not your own calendar date — after 11 a.m. Pacific the earliest same-day date is tomorrow, Pacific time. No deliveries Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1. Today, on your device's clock (): same-day by , courier by .

Alphabets: the card and the label

The store and its checkout are in English; in Ukraine, Ukrainian is spoken.

  • Card message. Latin letters, any language — it's printed verbatim. A message in Cyrillic has not been tested through this store's card-printing path, so write it in Latin letters (a transliteration is fine).
  • Your own details. Latin letters, as on the card statement.
  • Recipient details. Latin letters for the name and the Canadian address; the label and the courier's systems are English and can't verify another script at the door.
  • Numbers to call. Recipient: their Canadian number with area code, in the delivery fields. You: Ukraine country code is fine.

After you order: tracking, help, alcohol

Checking progress

Order Tracking asks for the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. A very recent order may not appear for a few minutes; if it still doesn't, contact support with the order number from your confirmation email.

Support

The support team ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0970) works 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific — longer around Valentine's and Mother's Day, per the store's contact page as read on 2026-09-17. Converted to your clock for September 17, 2026:

  • Ukraine (EEST): 7:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. the next day

Alcohol

Recipients aged 19+ (BC's legal drinking age) can receive wine, champagne, beer or spirits with their flowers anywhere in the province. Photo ID is checked on handover; alcohol is never left at the door.

Before you order from Ukraine

Do you accept Ukrainian cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your Ukrainian address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Will the recipient be asked to pay customs or delivery?

Nothing — no customs, no duty, no import fee, because the gift never leaves Canada. Delivery is free over $100 in the same-day zone, and any courier charge is shown to you, the buyer, at checkout.

When do I have to order for same-day delivery?

By 11:00 a.m. Pacific on the delivery day — see the table above for what that is in Ukraine today — for addresses in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Elsewhere in BC, order by 2 p.m. Pacific to ship that day; delivery takes one to two business days (longer for remote areas).

Will my message in Ukrainian print correctly?

In Latin letters, yes — verbatim. Not tested for Cyrillic, so write it in Latin letters or a transliteration. Use Latin letters for the names and address too.

Can I see the price in Ukrainian hryvnia?

Only as an estimate from the store's currency menu. The real amount is the CAD total at checkout — gift, tax and delivery — and your bank converts it to UAH at its rate.

From Vancouver outward
