Ordering from the UK works like ordering from next door. We arrange the flowers in Vancouver and deliver it in BC — same-day in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, courier beyond — billed in Canadian dollars, with nothing owed by the recipient and no border fees.
Placing the order from the UK
Yes — a purchaser in the UK can order for a recipient anywhere we deliver in BC. Checkout keeps two addresses apart, and the order goes wrong only when they're mixed:
- Billing details — yours. Your name as it appears on the card, your street address, town and postcode, in the billing fields. Your postcode goes there.
- Delivery details — the recipient's. Their name, their Canadian street address, city, BC and Canadian postal code (letter-number-letter number-letter-number, e.g. V6B 1A1), and their telephone number, in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls that number, not yours.
- The greeting card carries your name, so the recipient knows who sent it — the packing slip shows no prices.
The charge, in plain terms
The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display GBP equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The pounds sterling equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.
Payment methodsThe store shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (2026-09-17). the UK-issued cards are fine; use the address the card is registered to.
What doesn't applyDuty, customs, import charges: none of them, as the gift stays inside Canada from studio to door. The recipient pays nothing at all.
How soon can it get there?
The recipient's postal code goes here — it's checked against the delivery service the checkout runs on, which reports same-day or courier and the days.
The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to two business days (longer for remote areas) away, with the rate at checkout.

Drinks: who can receive them
Sending wine or champagne with the flowers is allowed when the person receiving it is 19+ — the driver or courier asks for photo ID and hands the bottle only to that person.

Will a UK bank card work?
It will. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB are all taken with a British billing address; you're charged in CAD and your bank does the conversion.
Could the recipient get a bill for customs or delivery?
No — there's no border crossing, so no customs, duty or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone, and courier shipping is charged to you at checkout.
Can I still get same-day if I order tonight, my time?
Depends where tonight falls in Vancouver: the order has to be in by 11:00 a.m. Pacific for same-day in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and by 2 p.m. Pacific to ship a courier parcel that day (one to two business days, longer for remote areas). The table above converts both for the UK.
Does someone need to be there to receive it?
Not for flowers — the driver or courier leaves them safely or with the building's front desk or mailroom, nothing to sign. Orders with wine or champagne do need a person 19+ with ID.
