Delivery Policy

Delivery Overview

Vancouver Blooms prepares and delivers orders across the Greater Vancouver and Lower Mainland region using delivery methods selected at checkout. Available delivery options and estimated delivery dates are displayed during checkout based on destination, timing, and product eligibility.


Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting changes should contact us as early as possible.

Once an order has shipped, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.


Delivery Timing & Windows

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times. Actual delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic conditions, weather, recipient availability, and operational capacity.

Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business deliveries typically occur during standard business hours.


Same-Day & Expedited Delivery

Same-day and expedited delivery options may be available on eligible products when ordered before the applicable cut-off time shown on the product page or at checkout.

For perishable or time-sensitive items, customers should select the recommended delivery method (such as same-day, next-day, overnight, or one business day) to help ensure freshness and quality.


Delivery Completion & Handoff

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated. Orders may be left in a safe location or delivered to a concierge, reception desk, or mailroom when appropriate.

Once proof of delivery has been obtained, responsibility transfers to the recipient.


Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before the order ships.

Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be undeliverable.

Refunds are not issued for orders affected by address errors.


Remote Delivery Areas

If, after an order has been placed, an address or destination is determined to be outside standard delivery zones, an additional service charge may be applied at the expense of the purchaser.

Such charges may occur at any point after the order has been placed, including after the order has been shipped and/or delivered.


Undeliverable Orders

Refunds are not issued for undeliverable orders.

Re-delivery may incur additional fees.

Perishable items may need to be remade and cannot always be recovered.

Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.


Perishable & Time-Sensitive Products

Some products are perishable or sensitive to transit conditions.

Expedited delivery methods such as same-day, next-day, overnight, or one business day are recommended.

Orders shipped using slower methods may have perishable items replaced with non-perishable alternatives at our discretion to protect quality.


Substitution Policy

Because some items are seasonal or subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary. When this occurs, we maintain the overall value, theme, and design of the order.

Due to high order volumes, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.


Alcohol & Regulated Products

Delivery of alcohol or other regulated products is subject to applicable provincial, state, or federal laws. Age verification and additional delivery requirements may apply where required.


External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, public emergencies, labor disruptions, holidays, or transportation network issues.
